Weekly blog

My weekly blog

This week was pretty chilled out I didn’t do much, but here it is anyway.

October 27th - Monday:

On Monday I had school , when I got home I did a light exercise and stretched.

October 28th - Tuesday: 

Tuesday we had no classes at school but instead we had the whole day to work on a research project. I didn’t do much that afternoon other than making dinner and scrolling the internet.

October 29th - Wednesday: 

On Wednesday I had PE in the morning then I had pass and then at the end of the day I had kayaking for an hour.

October 30th - Thursday:

School, had food tech which was a prac lesson and we made pizza which was alright. then after school finished I went to the mall and went shopping to help my friend find a formal dress which we got in the end after trying on thousands of dresses.

October 31st - Friday:

Friday I didn’t do much it was a quiet day at school not much happened, Friday was Halloween I didn’t do anything or go out but I did stay home alone watching gremlins and red, eating spaghetti which I made and then having chocolate.

November 1st - Saturday:

Saturday I went to the beach with a group of my friends so we spent the day down at the beach working on our tans and it was really hot that day so it was nice beach weather though it did rain 3 times but was over in about 5 minutes. That night I was home and it was just me and my brother and I just had stir fry for dinner.

November 2nd - Sunday:

Which is today, was just chilled out figuring some things out for formal, I made some brownies and added some almonds in to make it a bit healthier and they also add omega 3, iron, protein and are packed with lots of healthy fats and are extremely yummy especially chocolate covered almonds.

Review- Dr Wheatgrass

Recently I was sent 3 samples from Dr Wheatgrass, I recieved 2 sachets of the Antioxidant-Rich SuperBalm Multi Purpose Soother and 1 sachet of the Skin Recovery Cream.
I had read the claims and read about the brand and I was skeptical about it, but I was willing to give it a try though.
Recently I had horrible skin, it was extreamly dry, flaky (almost scaley) and felt hard and rough and kind of leathery, not matter what I used it didn't do anything or made it worse. At that point I was willing to try anything...

I used the skin recovery cream first and used it with my palmers skin perfecting oil and noticed a change in my skin almost immediatly. I used this before I went to bed and noticed my skin felt smoother but when I woke up i noticed it had really helped hydrate my skin.

That was a week ago I recieved the samples, now my skin isn't dry anymore other than a few little patches there is barely-no pigmentation problems that I was having along side the dryness. I feel that the cream has absolutley helped rehydrate and improve my skin and would absolutley recommend this product to anyone. I will be most likely purchusing this product. The mult-purpose soother is great for many different uses, my mum and I both tried a satchet each. While away in QLD my mum had gotten burnt so she used this product to help sooth her sunburn and she said it worked great, I personally get very sore muscles in my knees and shoulders so I used this product for that I noticed that it soothed and helped relieve the pain in my muscles and tissue. I used this product by massaging into the skin and found it has helped relieve the pain and actually help stop the muscle soreness and problems. (RRP full size 145mL=$39.50)

Overall I love this brand and will deffinatly be purchusing and looking into some of their other products, this brand really helps and actually works and is well worth the price on the products especially as you dont need much of their products so they would last a long time. This brand provides natural, fragrence and gluten free products that are also against animal testing. I would suggest heading over to their website and having a look for yourself.

Life Update

Hello Everyone!......

 I know I have been away and haven't been posting last week I had my exam so I have been studying for them but also recently I went away to QLD. I wish i took heaps of photos and did a daily post for that but I was only there Friday night to Sunday night and I was away with family i have a few photos but not many but I will most likely be going up again this holidays so I will definitely take lots of pictures and post daily posts for that. 

I have also decided to postpone the fitness posts/series (just for the moment though just because I want to catch up with those and have them written out and recently I haven't been doing that much exercise or healthy eating so I feel as though that would effect the quality as I would just be making stuff up. 

..... But I will be doing a Life update post every Saturday/Sunday on what's happened during the week and any notes or things I need to tell you. 

I have products that need reviewing so look out for those, I will be uploading makeup tutorials, and doing some routines (both new and updated).

I will be uploading a review tomorrow and with then be starting the life updates from next week.

Morning Routine

My Morning Routine.

I don't do athing to exciting fo rm morning routine, and it doesnt really change that much on the weekends, obviously with school weekdays i have to be alot quicker with things so I've been trying to wake up earlier which I will state in the post, I will list all the products I use at the end.
So here is my morning routine.

Firstly I will wake up depending on weekends or school days will depend on the time I get up,
School Day: first alarm: 5:30am
                     second alarm: 6:00am
Yes 5:30 is very early but if I don't wake up at 5:30 then I won't get up to do an excersise.
Weekend: I dont really have an alarm I will naturally wake up at around 9:00am - 10:00am at the latest.
I will then get up and do a quick excersise usually consisting of jumping jacks/star jumps, push ups, planks, squats, burpees, skipping jump without the rope. Sometimes I will go for a run but I personally prefer evening runs, or I will run up and down the steps of my unit but I also don't really do that often as I don't want to wake people up.

After my work-out I will usually have a shower, and quickly wash myself just to freshen up so probably only like 5-10 minutes.
I will get out and wash my face, apply toner and then moisturise.
leaving my face bare and not putting on makeup I then will get dressed and throw my hair in a messy bun just to get it out of the way.

I will make my breakfast, this usually consists of some vegimite toast, oats with fruit in milk, and I'll have a granola bar or an uncle toby's yoghurt topps apricot bars (yum!).

Depending on what day it is will then decide what I do next if it's a school day I will pack my bag and lunch or if it's a weekend I'll just read a book of catch up on some tv shows, or some days I will work so I'll plan what I'm going to do for the day if it's a weekend.

So thats all that's in my morning routine really, it's really about finding the motivation to get up that early in the morning to do excersise. The first week I tried getting up early I snoozed every single alarm... So I know how you feel people that like your sleep, even now I still snooze the alarms I'm so tired.

I've been away

I'm sorry I haven't posted recently in the past two weeks, Iwas away in Jindabyne/Perisher on a snow/ski camp, which was amazing and incredibly fun even though I only got to snowboard the first day as I sprained my ankle but it was still incredibly fun and I am working on a blog ost about that, and the second week i have just been so busy tryig to catch up with school work I have missed and on top of that I have been unwell, and I still am not feeling better. I had a few days were I felt better but since then I have gotten worse.

But....
I will post a new post this week and work on some more posts, I have a haul post coming up and a review, a post about keeping fit which will be uploaded on Thursday. I will also be uploading my favourites soon I promise.

So there will be two posts this week one will be uploaded on thursday but I am unsure of when the other one will be posted maybe Tuesday.

New Series- Keeping Fit & Healthy

This holidays I've really tried to become healthier and fitter. I would aways go for runs but I was never eating healthy to then compiment the excersise I was doing, I tried but I would always give up after eating that one scoop of ice cream or bit of chocolate and then go and eat a bag of chips and so on, so it never lasted. With the start of the holidays I decided to make a promise to myself that I would try harder especialy with it being the holidays the time that I would usually just eat whatever is in the house because it's the holidays and all I was doing was watching TV and working.

This holidays I've have felt a lot fitter and healthier and to be honest a lot better about myself, I feel that that is the benifets of eating healthier and getting excersise it boosts your confidence and it makes you slimmer but in a healthier way that just not eating, you are toning your body and you are rewarded with feeling great, self confidence, a great body and a healthier lifestyle.

And I'm not saying I don't eat chocolate, ice cream or chips or junk food I can not give up my chocolate haha, but I'm saying that I don't eat is as frequently and being healthier and eating healthier isn't about cutting all that out because you dont have to just remeber when you do eat it, eat it in moderation, or there are many substitutes for that food that are healthier and still taste great.

So thats what this series is for, each week I'll be uploading a new post to do with keeping fit and healthy and I'll be sharing recipes, foods I like, substitutes for food, excersising, the do's and dont's of keeping fit and heathy and much more.

May Favourites

This month I've been recently loving a few products, and books and other random stuff so I thought I would share them with you.

I've really been loving the book fault in our stars. I decided to read it because I have heard so many good reviews on this book and I knew I wanted to read it before the movie came out, so I went and  purchused it and I absolutley love it, I would definatly recommend this book to anyone.


Another thing I've been really loving is the movie Spectacular Now, the two main actors and actresses are Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller, this a great movie and i loved it the whole way through.
 Some makeup/beauty products I've been loving this month are:

The Rimmel London 'Wake Me Up' concealer, it provides creat coverage but its a really light formula.
I've also been absolutley loving the Rimmel London 'Stay Matte' foundation. It's a light formula which provides high coverage, you need little product and it goes a long way. The product doesnt cake on your skin and it provides a smooth, streak free, even finish.
A mascara that I've been really loving is the Maybelline New York Falsies, Vloum' Express 'waterproof'. I've had this mascara for a while but I was never really into it, and never really like it but recently i tried it again and i found i actually really liked it.
 
I've recntly gotton into the tv series The Secret Life of an American Teenager, I was recently looking up some films and tv shows Shailene Woodley was in and I found this so I decided to check this out and I'm really liking it so far.
 
An actress I've been liking is Shailene Woodley, she is an amazing actress and I find she really plays the character well, and I enjoy the movies she is in.


Theres not much this month that I've been loving I've liked a few other things but they aren't favourites of mine so I haven't included them in here.

Favourite TV show- Teen Wolf



 
Okay so let me start by saying I'm not a fan of the whole vampires, werewolves kind of stuff especially vampires.. Which is why I was hesitant to start watching this show, though I watched a season 3 episode cause it was on and fell in love with the show.

 
The show itself what I like about it isn't so much like the whole sterytipycal werewolves, like in twilight, it's great because its based around mythology not werewolves itself.

If you want to watch this show I would highly recommend starting from the beggining but if you don't want to start from the beginning of season 3. I love this show and I'm glad I decided to watch this show.

The first season is about romance but if you don't like it still watch because it is a great show.

Currently the show is on break, and season 4 is then coming out. And there are cliff hangers that were left at the end which is exciting so I can't wait.




I got a job!!!

I got a job 2 weeks ago at my local video store, which I was really excited about. So I've decided to do a post or two on how to get a job and stuff like that.
